Subject: Presentation of two river trips with slides and other illustrations. The first part will cover the Little Nelchina, Nelchina and Tazlina Rivers.

The second part will deal with the Gulkana River. Both river systems are near Glennallen, and are easily accessible by automobile from Anchorage.

Gulkana River is a very popular float trip, and part of the National Wild and Scenic River System. It is well known for great fishing and camping. The Nelchina / Tazlina system is traveled less often, but a more adventuresome trip with great scenery and more interesting water conditions.

Bio: Jim Strutz is a life long Alaskan, and has been rafting and paddling extensively since the early 90's. His other hobby is Photography, and he is employed by Anchorage City Church, where his primary responsibilities include frequent public speaking.
